on alignment & refining the pulse.acceptance here is not a final resting place; it is the beginning of a conversation. if your work is chosen, expect a collaborative, hands-on editorial process. we aren't here to sanitize your edges or dilute your voice — we are here to sharpen it.we will work with you line-by-line and frame-by-frame to elevate contrast, build tension, and ensure your piece hits with maximum weight. we invest deeply in our creators.if we take your work, we are fully committed to crystallizing your vision until it is unforgettable.
on theme.issue 01 is currently unthemed. we do not force creators into a box. instead, the narrative and visual theme of the issue will be organically discovered and shaped by the collective energy of the accepted pieces. show us what you are making; let the work dictate the pulse.
on mature subject matter.pulse aims to be a space for vulnerable and honest expression, which often means tackling heavy themes. while we accept pieces dealing with difficult subject matters in a respectful manner, we do not accept work that exploits, sensationalizes, or glorifies trauma, violence, or mental health struggles.
